Reading,
writing, understanding and
expressing are all explored through the
many activities of Goodbooks Resource Centre. It is these
activities that
make it a bookstore apart – widening horizons through books,
reading and
stories . . . encouraging children to think afresh and catch
those thoughts
in words, in art, craft, music, drama . . .
Listed here are various workshops
that have been conducted at Goodbooks.
While some of these programmes are conducted on an ongoing
basis, some
are conducted once in 2 or 3 months, and many are part of the
summer
programme at Goodbooks.

The trail to stories, good books
and reading . . .
More and more parents these days worry about their children not
wanting to read. With other easy and attractive options, special
care has to be taken to make books interesting enough for them. At
the Reading Trail sessions children are drawn into another world
with storytelling and story reading to browse, read, look at
pictures, just be with books.
