Use of
appropriate learning aids in combination
with text enhances the learning process.
However, information on appropriate and
effective learning aids is not easily
available and finding this is time
consuming and laborious.
Goodbooks
Teacher's Centre now houses quality
learning aids, thus providing easy access
to good
aids for making learning effective and fun.

The aids
are selected from those currently
developed by different organizations (in
India and elsewhere). The Centre currently
has aids for Mathematics,
English, Early childhood,
Science, History and Environmental
Sciences.
The center has a display of the range of various aids which
includes games,
puzzles, toys, charts and subject
specific aids for all age groups. Detailed
descriptions of what the aids can be used
for, how to use them is also
available.

aids available at the centre are being
developed by groups like Jodo
Gyan, Avehi-Abacus, Centre for Learning
Resources, Navnirmiti, and TaleemNet.
The
centre will continue to look out for
organizations producing such materials to add to the existing pool
of resources available.
